The festivities

Food on the face. Trying to grab the cake. Totally confused.

Wipe the face.

Sing a song.

Clap.

Open a present and have a family band. We have done this almost every night since we opened this awesome gift (thanks Rebecca!).

The Other party with Harper.
(Cyra keeps reminding me that Lulu had two parties. And that her birthday is "already past." I think she is reminding me that the bar is at two parties and that it will be her turn soon).

We were inspired by the Republican National Convention (I mean, just the balloon toss at the end) and decided we wanted to have one of our own. (Although Cyra still shouts USA! just at random times for no reason).

Birthday girls. (one is walking and the other wants to touch her nose and take her stuff)

Confusion and Apathy.

And back to my child trying to take Harper's toy.

Lucia didn't really care for her cake.

I don't think the girls really enjoyed their party to be honest, but it's not really about them at this point. Is it?

This is so cute and funny! I love how much hair Lucia has. Incidentally, you look so much like SHima in these photos. I mean, more than usual.

The RNC inspired line had e laughing outloud. I am very afraid of Addy's first birthday because I want so so bad for her to make a huge mess of herself in the cake and I know, I just know, she's not going to be into it. Definitely not about her.
