She does this practically every day

Who knows why. She just gets the little apron and hat and towels and wants me to put them on her and just struts around. I don't think I have ever worn an apron in my life (I have home clothes--see below).

"Oh, why didn't you tell me you were taking a picture?"

Blowing a kiss.

And here they are hiding:

Dad put them up there.

I love Lucia's "picture" face. The grin is just too good. Nana has hers down too, except she turns her head a bit and rests her chin on her shoulder. That's when you know we are taking one too many photographs.
I didn't know they have a kitchen, pots and such. Jared, you must be attending therapy. Las nenas te derrotaron!

I have not seen a funnier face! Or a more expressive little girl. If I had a chef's hat and coordinating apron and mitts I would strut, too. And then my dad might put me on the shelf in the closet.

I like that this post includes a disclaimer in anticipation of bad parenting feedback, as if to say, "I didn't put them in that dangerous precarious position, Jared did, and I tried to tell him no before I got the camera out."

Oh my goodness! Your Lucia's "picture smile" is priceless! Seeing it totally put a smile on my face! :) You have a cute family!

Could not be cuter, these girls. I wish I looked as giddy to be in the kitchen as Lucia does in her get-up. Absolutely darling.

I'd officially like to make Lucia the new face of The Apron Stage. I know you don't do print ads, but come on...friends and family discount?

Best part is the chef's hat. (I know you wear one, Mehrsa.)

Also, good to see that you guys have enough Fiber One bars to last through the millenium.

Lucia's "smile" is priceless! I just want to pick her up and squeeze her and give her kisses. She would probably freak out and wonder about this crazy woman. It makes my heart ache to be so far away from these precious girls-but we will be there soon! Love, Mom and Dad Bybee

That is the cutest face I've ever seen. I have to admit I'm coveting all of the costco food sitting directly below those kids. What I would give for some goldfish . . .
