Every March since I have been in New York, I have wanted to move. It's New York's least attractive feature (every August, I dream of growing old here). It feels like winter is letting up and so I start thinking about putting away my sleeping bad coat and going for a stroll in the park, but March is the cruelest month with its teasing and non-fulfillment.
Here are a few examples:
(Rebecca, that's Adelaide's hat. If you leave things at our house (or if you drop them and we pick them up), we will use them).
The best thing about babies is that they have such a short-term memory that they feel like they are seeing everything for the first time. It's been a while since I took Lucia to Central park and this is her face right when we walked in:
And then she said hello to everyone we walked past--just like a tourist. Soon, she will learn the city scowl.

Are those paniers on your stroller? What are you going camping in the park?
March is cruel, but those kids are sweet.
Marc
Those sweet faces almost make the cruel month of March disappear! Ohio has pretty much the same teasing weather so make sure if you do escape the city you go south!
She can have the hat. We're never going to use hats again. We flew in last night and it was freezing. I've had it. We're leaving New York. NEVER AGAIN will we do this winter thing.
Also, Lucia has the best hair of any child I know.
funny love t!
I think everyone feels the same way in March. I dream of moving to a beach somewhere at the end of every winter. Love the pictures of your girls in the park. They are dolls.
