Cyra turned 3 on the 13th of October.
And here are all the things I love about Cyra:
- When I ask her how her day was at school she says (with a huge smile): "I doesn't cry today!"
- She loves to pick her toes. She just sits there for hours and picks lint out of her toes--silent and totally focused.
- She wears size 18-24 month clothes and everyone thinks she is a genius because because she is actually 3, but looks like she's two.
- She still loves her dad more than anyone and anything.
- She can be a good big sister and Lulu worships her:
- She recognizes Obama, McCain, Clinton (Hillary), Bush, and Palin by sight.
- She still claims that her best friend is this little girl Sandra that she met in Bali 6 months ago who did not speak any English and was 2 years older than Cyra.
- Her favorite colors are pink and red and (much to mommy and daddy's dismay) she loves all sorts of princess paraphernalia.
- She loves to put things in bags and carry them around and unpack them and re-pack them. The heavier the bag, the better.
- Sometimes, she has her own language that she just babbles to me with real intonations and hand motions.
- She is always smiling (unless she is crying, being mean to Lulu, or picking her toes).
- She still sleeps with little red octopus that she has had since she was 3 months old.

what a cute list of endearing things! I love the toe picking. the pics Chelsea took are great, your kids are beautiful...don't deny it. And it's ok to brag about your kids on your blog, that's what it's for.

happy birthday cyra. micahlyn has just the opposite issue. she just turned 3 but wears a size 6 and everyone thinks she's around 5 so they wonder why she isn't more articulate. i think i'd rather be tiny and brilliant.

Mehrsa, Cyra and Lucia are so darling. What??? I love them. I have done many-a-birthday for my two little ladies with the mandatory tiara. It is so sad when their dream is to be a princess! My five year old STILL thinks that and announced it to an entire audience at Disney World. Cringe.
