I am in love with this little girl. She is hilarious. She's always so excited and happy. She nuzzles up to you with her head and just purrs when she wants some love. Most of the time, she is crawling really fast somewhere and absolutely resolute. I love to pick her up from her naps in the morning, because she is a ball of pure exuberance.
Eating chocolate cake
She has to eat everything by herself. She will not eat anything unless she can pick it up herself and put it in her mouth.
Her shirt is always off when she eats because she usually takes a few bites and then dances around like this a little bit--notice the watermelon juice dripping down her elbow. I have had to really just learn to deal with messiness and chaos with this one. Often, I just have to stick her in the sink after she eats and just hose her down from head to toe. This is the child that crawls into the bathroom and goes right for the toilet scrubber or plunger; into the kitchen straight for the garbage or recycling unless there are some knives in the dishwasher--then she goes straight for those. I take her to the park and she goes from clean to filthy in 30 seconds (as opposed to Cyra who I have to take three extra outfits for when we go out--if one gets wet or slightly dirty, she needs to change before she can be comfortable).
Lucia also loves swings. She can sit there all day and gets pretty mad when you take her out. She doesn't even need to be pushed. She just likes sitting there.

we love Lulu too! the kids make me show them the pictures over and over again. Rachel is jealous about the watermelon and Adam wants to know if he can eat with his shirt off too.
She's a riot! What a fun personality. And that picture of Lulu's eyes and Kian pushing her is PERFECT. What a great shot.
she really is just beautiful!
Mehrsa, Your girls are so beautiful and so are you!! My sister told me about your blog. You know her sister-in-law Ada Hinckley. I have been looking at all your cute pictures for the past 1/2 hour. I would love to hear from you. My email is lisarkbrown@hotmail.com
love,
Lisa Koelliker
Oh how fun! Oliver and I laughed and loved looking at these pictures. The high chair dance is a particular favorite. I think you should capture some video. Isn't it amazing how different each child can be?
oh their little personalities. life would be so boring if they were all the same, wouldn't it? plus that would give us parents a chance to actually figure things out. i do wish that i had one of those clean ones though.
The 5th picture down, when she's reaching, I love when her lip does that, that has always been my favorite of Lulu's faces. And the one of Kian pushing her in the swings is great! When do we get to see your benefit pictures?
Yes, the high chair dance. And the hair. She needs more attention for the hair. It's incredible. Oh yes, and the eyes. Look at the eyes in all of the beginning photos. What a darling little one. Even if she about as stable as rocket fuel, as they say.
