We went to this cute little cupcake bakery and this children's bookstore downtown and ate cupcakes. I wanted to take a picture of the top of the cupcake because it was so nicely decorated, but by the time I got the camera out, Cyra had licked the top clean:

Is that Books of Wonder? I love that place. Secretly want to open my own someday. I can't wait until my babe is old enough to actually get that I'm reading her a book in a cool booksotre. Last time I was there--all good mother and such--the store workers were a bit miffed about my reading a stack of books...while the baby slept in her stroller.
Looking at all your summer posts definitely makes me miss New York! Looks like you are taking full advantage of the city. Awesome.
