Needless to say, there were no eggs by the time we got there, but I brought my own. I placed a few eggs on the grass right in front of Cyra and after a little prodding and basically telling her exactly where to look, she "found" them. Cyra may have inherited Jared's "finding" genes.
Yes, I do have on my full down coat. March is the most deceptive month in New York.

Looks like a fun day. What a big girl and I think her hair looks very cute. Great job with the fier, I think that is such a great idea for getting rid of it. Very creative.
This is Jared. A) I can find everything that I need. B) Mehrsa needs a down coat but Cyra is ok in a sweater?
What a great idea to "trade" the fier for a hello kitty backpack. I threw Eliza's away at 18 months with no ceremony and no reward. Your little Cyra gets more beautiful every day--I love the Dora do. And I want to come visit you again every time I look at your blog.
Ruby was totally into the egg hunting. Our friends hid candy eggs along with hard-boiled, and the older kids figured out that they could get all the candy ones by shaking the eggs when they picked them up. Ruby ended up with 7 hard-boiled eggs in her bag. Dang kids!
So yesterday Christopher yelling, Where's the diaper cream? And I say, it's right next to the diapers and her changing pillow. And he goes, it's not here, so I say, do you want me to come back there and find it? So he says Yes, and what do you know, the bright yellow tube is right next to the diapers and the changing pillow. Crazy right? We left Kaira Grace's sleep toys in LA and they're getting mailed up. I don't think she really noticed.
Jared--I laughe about the Cyra sweater thing too. And Mehrsa, you are a good mom. Thinking ahead to bring your own eggs? Heaven knows I'll show up to the egg hunt and just expect my two-year old to understand. Please bless I figure some things out.
I agree about March weather in New York! I was pretty lucky though last week with it! So glad that the fier trauma was quick to pass--you guys are very brave! Can't wait to see you soon!
