Easter Egg Hunt

Needless to say, there were no eggs by the time we got there, but I brought my own. I placed a few eggs on the grass right in front of Cyra and after a little prodding and basically telling her exactly where to look, she "found" them. Cyra may have inherited Jared's "finding" genes.

Yes, I do have on my full down coat. March is the most deceptive month in New York.

RIP: Cyra's "Fier"--We did it, we did it, hooray!

We were waiting until we got back from Bali to do this, but the fier (pacifier) had to go. I was so nervous about this, but we went to Barnes and Noble and Cyra traded in the fier to the nice cashier lady to get this Hello Kitty backpack. Jared and I were practically sweating when we left the store in a near panic and before we got to 59th street on the subway (about two stops after B&N), Cyra regretted her fool-hearty exchange. She cried that night and woke up super early the next day and then no nap, but that was it. What a relief.

Now, I have to get Jared a Hello Kitty backpack...wish me luck.

Do not cut your daughter's hair yourself

Or else it will look like this...

Our little Rasta

Not sure if you can see it well in these pictures, but for about a month now, Lucia has had 4 or 5 dreads coming out of the back of her hair. I have tried conditioner and different combs to get them out. Jared doesn't want me to cut them out because he thinks they are cool. I am worried it's spreading.

Great parent of the month award goes to me...

We were watching LOST in the other room and Lucia was bouncing in her jumper for a while and then I looked over (during a commercial break) and she had just hunched over and fallen asleep on the bouncer. I love the independence.

Kian's 3rd birthday

Early easter basket for Cyra(a.k.a. give Cyra a present during Kian's party so she doesn't get too jealous.)

Lulu threw up all over Eric. How did she have that much milk inside her? She soaked him and there was tons of throw-up on the floor. Good breast milk gone to waste. Poor Eric just picked took her from me and got drenched. Phew...glad it wasn't me.
