Bali, Indonesia

We are in Bali for the month and it has been amazing. Yoga every morning, walks on the beach, amazing food, cool temples and markets to visit. We have a housekeeper and a cook that came with the house we rented and it's been great because they are really cool ladies and they are great with the kids. Unfortunately, poor Lucia has missed a lot of action because she is much happier at home in her vibrating chair. Cyra has loved it here. She loves riding the scooter everywhere, but she keeps saying we are in California. (Every time we get on airplane she thinks we are going to California.) The poor girl has gotten eaten alive with mosquitos though. We have to spray her with repellent every hour. Apparently, she has yummy blood. We have been a little sad to miss the LOST premier and all the primary election action in the states, but Jeff has done a great job of keeping us updated. For the first week we were here, I had dreams all the time that you all had had the election and Obama lost and I was so sad and I would have to go to the internet to make sure that hadn't happened. Now, I think about it a lot less. Traveling with two babies is definitely not super easy, but it's been great here because we have so much help.

I am going to try to upload some pictures. Hopefully, it works. (By the way, I am doing this at this amazing little restaurant near the beach while they prepare my mango banana juice.)

Yeah, that does sound like a dream if Obama lost as opposed to a nightmare (hee hee).

What a great trip! What is it in you two that makes you so daring? Our idea of a nice family vacation is a week in Disneyland. HAHA!
